Parks & Rec holds this fun 5K run/walk, annually in May.
Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake has held a Memorial Day Parade celebration since around the end of WWII. The Memorial Day parade marches from City Hall to Memorial Park.
4th of July Fireworks
Fireworks have been a tradition in Sylvan Lake for at least 70 years. The fireworks are currently sponsored by the Oakland County Boat Club.
Ice Cream Social
Garden Club Annual Ice Cream Social in August (since 1965!)
