Annual Fireworks display hosted by the Oakland County Boat Club. Fireworks begin at dusk. The fireworks will be shot from a barge in the middle of the lake again this year. That means you will again be able to use the Community Center parking lot and park for viewing. To make a donation visit their website.
No Parking on the Street. This is the same as the past several years. There is no parking on or along any street except on approved gravel or paved parking areas.
Community Center Fireworks parking will be available this year for $15 in advance or $20 the day of the fireworks. The parking lot will open at 7:00 p.m.. and you must have a parking permit to enter the parking lot, including dock space holders. You may (should) purchase your parking permit at City Hall now to make sure you have a spot. City Hall hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m .
Volunteers are needed to help put up the temporary "No Parking" signs in the City on Friday morning and to take the signs down and clean up the park the day after the fireworks (Saturday). Please contact City Hall if you would like to help.
