Three candidates are vying for One (1) Member of the Board of Education - 4 Year Term from 7/1/08-6/30/12.
There are no ballot proposals for the May 6, 2008 Election.
Voter Registration, Monday, April 7, 2008 is the last day to register if you are not already registered with the City.
Absent Voter Ballots will be availabe at City Hall in April. City Hall will be open on Saturday, May 3rd from 9am-2pm to receive absentee ballots.
General Information
The City of Sylvan Lake holds elections annually (November) for electing City Council members. Voting takes place at the DPW Garage behind City Hall. The polls are open from 7am-8pm.
Voters need to be registered to voter in the City of Sylvan Lake. A voter registration application is available under downloadable forms. You do not need to register for each election.
If you would like to help in the election process please fill out the Election Inspectors Application and turn it into the clerk's office. This form is also available in downloadable forms.
